South Bucks Choral Society was founded in 1980 by our musical director Iain Ledingham MA FRAM FRCO, who teaches at the Royal Academy of Music. We currently have about 100 active singing members, and perform with professional orchestras and soloists. We present three concerts each year, including a Carol Concert in December. One of our concerts is part of the Amersham Festival of Music. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings in Chalfont St Peter, from early September until the spring concert. Many members sing in other events, such as a sung Mass performed as part of the Amersham Festival, and a summer school. New members are welcome - tenors doubly so! Entry is by private audition. |
